How does an appointment become a trip in Kilevo?

An appointment becomes a trip as soon as it has a location: Kilevo creates a drive from your departure address to that place, as a round trip, on the date and at the time of the appointment, and calculates the miles and the mileage reimbursement.

For each appointment read from a tracked calendar:

  1. The Departure is your default departure address, and the Arrival is the appointment's location. The trip is a Round Trip.
  2. The Purpose takes the appointment's title, the date and times are those of the calendar, and the Vehicle is your default vehicle.
  3. The arrival address is searched near your home address, not at random. If the place is certain, the distance is measured and the trip is Counted. If Kilevo has a doubt, the trip is marked To check and shows Guessed address with the address it picked: one click on Confirm validates it for every appointment with the same title, one click on Fix imposes yours.
  4. A video meeting location (Teams, Meet, Zoom) gives an Online trip with zero miles, never a made-up distance.

Every trip stays editable: expand it to change the Departure, the Arrival, switch to One-Way, pick another Vehicle or rewrite the Purpose. These corrections survive the next syncs.

A personal appointment slipped into the list? Click its Counted badge to exclude it from the calculation; it stays visible and switches to Excluded. Details are on the calendar sync page.
