Do I need a calendar to use Kilevo?

No, a calendar is not required to use Kilevo. The calendar is the most automatic way in, but two other ways to enter your trips exist, and all three combine freely.

  1. Dicter: the main button on the My Trips page. Type or say one sentence, on the keyboard or with your phone's microphone: "Yesterday, round trip from home to Boston to see a client." The assistant understands the date, the place, the purpose, your saved addresses and your vehicles, then proposes the trips. You review, you confirm, and Kilevo measures the miles and applies the mileage rate.
  2. + Trip: the classic form, with Date, Time, Departure Location, Arrival Location, Vehicle, Purpose and the Round Trip checkbox.

In both cases, all you need is a default departure address and a saved vehicle: they are prefilled on every new trip. A dictated multi-stop route ("left the office, stopped at Johnson's, then Miller's, and back") is measured leg by leg.

The assistant never calculates a distance or an amount: it understands your sentence, and Kilevo's engine measures the miles and applies the rate. Nothing is saved without your confirmation. See dictation in action on the home page.
