Can Kilevo replace my Excel mileage log?

Yes, Kilevo replaces the Excel mileage log, and it does the work for you instead of handing you cells to fill in.

With a spreadsheet, you write down every trip, look up the distance, add up the miles and apply the mileage rate yourself, often at the end of the year. With Kilevo:

1. The appointments in your calendar become trips automatically, with the date, the place and the purpose. The others are dictated in one sentence or added with + Trip.
2. Distances are measured by the engine, from your departure address, as a round trip by default.
3. The year's IRS standard mileage rate is applied; calculation details shows the formula used.
4. The mileage log comes out as a PDF, Monthly summary or Annual summary, with the rate applied, the attached receipts and a certification block, ready for the IRS, your tax return and your accountant.

Your history is not lost: the Sync from: date goes back to January 1 of last year, and older trips that were not in the calendar can be entered by hand.
