Can I get the mileage log PDF in another language or currency?

Yes: the language, the currency and the distance unit of the PDF follow the reference country chosen in the settings. United States produces a Mileage log in English at the IRS rates, in miles and dollars; France a journal in French with the French tax scale, in kilometers and euros; Netherlands a Kilometerregistratie in Dutch at the Belastingdienst rate.

1. Click Settings.
2. At the bottom of the panel, under Reference country for scales, choose the country.
3. Click PDF, then Monthly summary or Annual summary.

This is more than a translation: changing the country changes the mileage rate, the currency and the distance unit, in the counter as in the PDF. The trips themselves stay the same. You can switch back to the original country at any time, nothing is lost.

Each version has the structure expected in its country: summary, breakdown by trip type or by vehicle, reimbursements, trip details and receipts as an appendix.

A new account starts on France: if your counter shows kilometers and euros, pick United States in Settings and everything switches to miles, dollars and the IRS rates. For a French or Dutch accountant reading a file for their own tax authority, keep their country: the rate and the amounts in euros are what they need to check.
