Will a calendar sync overwrite a trip I edited?
No. A manual edit on a synced trip survives the next syncs: Kilevo locks every field you touch and never rewrites it.
The following are protected as soon as you change them in the trip details:
- the starting point (Departure button);
- the destination (Arrival button);
- the Round Trip or One-Way choice;
- the Vehicle;
- the Purpose of the trip;
- the resulting distance.
A trip you excluded stays excluded, a tour you linked stays linked, and a trip you deleted is never recreated by a sync.
Only the date and the times keep following your calendar: if you move an appointment, the trip moves with it and keeps your edits. To understand how an appointment becomes a trip, see the calendar sync page.
