Does the AI calculate the miles for my trips?

No, and that is by design. The assistant understands your sentence and fills in the form; the miles and the mileage reimbursement are calculated by Kilevo's engine, the same one used for your trips imported from a calendar.

In practice:

1. The assistant turns your sentence into structured trips: date, time, departure, arrival, purpose, vehicle, round trip or multi-stop route.
2. When you click Ajouter ce trajet, the distance is measured by road with Google Maps, as for any other trip.
3. The reimbursement is then calculated with the IRS standard mileage rate for the year.

An artificial intelligence can get a number wrong; a road route and an official mileage rate cannot. At worst, the assistant fills in a field wrongly, and you review it before confirming.
